Data Migration

Most I.T companies will say data import is a simple procedure but in reality it is not. Without the right import management, data can become corrupted and cause disruption to your business, so it is important you understand what is involved and the procedures that are followed.

Solution4 take great care in moving client data from an existing database into SENRO, our aim is to ensure it is completed very quickly, accurately and without substantial expense. All work is completed in-house, so the security of client information will never be compromised.

Our development team will talk you through a secure procedure to extract the data from your existing database and send it to them in a password protected CSV file. If you do not understand how to do this, don’t worry, because one of our engineers can remotely access your computer and take you through the steps.

The development team will then analyse the information and complete a cleansing process to highlight any duplicated records in your current database and tidy up records for maximum benefit.

Once the data has been cleansed, you will be sent an excel document (CSV file) for you to review. At this stage you can remove or edit any records. Only once you are satisfied with the final extract, our development team will import the data and provide you with a username and password to log onto SENRO and check it.
